NALCO Announces Major Recruitment Drive for 268 Non-Executive Posts; Golden Opportunity for ITI and Diploma Holders

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), one of India’s leading public sector aluminium companies, has released a recruitment notification for Non-Executive positions at its Mines & Refinery (M&R) Complex located in Damanjodi, Odisha. For Junior Foreman positions, candidates must possess a Diploma in the respective engineering discipline along with the necessary competency certificates as prescribed in the notification.

In terms of age criteria, the maximum age limit is 27 years for SUPT (JOT) positions, 35 years for Operator and Technician posts, and 40 years for Junior Foreman posts. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories as per Government of India rules.

The selection process will be conducted in two stages. The first stage consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The examination will contain 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a duration of 120 minutes. One of the notable features of this examination is that there will be no negative marking. Approximately 60% of the questions will be based on technical subjects related to the respective trade, while the remaining 40% will cover General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, English Language, and General Aptitude.

Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for the Trade Test, which will be qualifying in nature. Final selection will be based on the rules and procedures specified in the official recruitment notification.

The salary package offered under this recruitment is highly attractive. Operator and Technician posts fall under the T0 Grade pay scale, offering a salary ranging from ₹29,500 to ₹70,000 per month. Junior Foreman posts are categorized under the S0 Grade, with a pay scale ranging from ₹36,500 to ₹1,15,000 per month. Candidates selected for SUPT (JOT) positions will receive a monthly stipend during the training period, and upon successful completion of training, they will be absorbed into regular positions as per company norms.
